DEPARTMENT OF POLITICAL SCIENCE

Brief Information

Department of Political Science was started in 1974. Since the opening of the College, the Department has a great Tradition of Legendary personalities and eminent teachers Shri. R. G. Waradkar was a distinguished scholar who published 100 books on various aspects of Political Science. An ememinaent historien renowned Shri. K. M. More.

The faculty member is highly qualified teachers imparting knowledge as well as moral values to students. Department of Political Science as far as the strength of the students is concerned. At Present Dr. Rahul Datta Mandanikar is the Head of the Department and Dr. Vijay Jalindar Dethe is the faculty member, who have been published books and participated in many conferences, seminars and workshops.

संक्षिप्त माहिती

1974 मध्ये राज्यशास्त्र विभाग सुरू करण्यात आला. महाविद्यालय सुरू झाल्यावर विभागातील दिग्गज व्यक्तिमत्व आणि प्रख्यात शिक्षक श्री. श्री. आर. जी. वराडकर हे एक विशिष्ट अभ्यासक होते ज्यांनी राज्यशास्त्रातील विविध विषयांवर 100 पुस्तके प्रकाशित केली. 

विद्याशाखा सदस्य विद्यार्थ्यांना ज्ञान तसेच नैतिक मूल्ये देणारे उच्च पात्र शिक्षक आहेत. विद्यार्थ्यांच्या सामर्थ्याबाबत राज्यशास्त्र विभाग. सध्या डॉ. राहुल दत्ता मंडणीकर हे विभाग प्रमुख आहेत आणि डॉ विजय जलिंदर देठे हे विद्याशाखा सदस्य आहेत, ज्यांची पुस्तके प्रकाशित झाली आहेत आणि त्यांनी अनेक परिषद, सेमिनार आणि कार्यशाळांमध्ये भाग घेतला आहे.

Objectives

• Describe basic political and governmental structures processes.
• Increase sharpen analytical thinking skill and challenges students to evaluate critically the rights and responsibilities of citizens living in a democracy.

उद्दीष्टे

• मूलभूत राजकीय आणि सरकारी संरचना प्रक्रियेचे वर्णन करा.
• विश्लेषणात्मक विचार करण्याची कौशल्ये वाढविणे आणि विद्यार्थ्यांना लोकशाही मध्ये राहणार्‍या नागरिकांच्या हक्कांचे आणि जबाबदार्‍‍यांचे गंभीरपणे मूल्यांकन करण्याचे आव्हान आहे.

  • A separate ICT-based classroom is provided for the department in our college building.
  • The department also has a collection of above 50 maps.
